Fowler Baptist Church
Fowler Baptist Church is a traditional, conservative Baptist Church. We are a non-charismatic church. The Pastor and most of our congregation use the KJV Bible Version although it is not required. In our music we use The Baptist Hymnal and also incorporate selected, appropriate choruses.
We would emphasize that we do not adhere to any man-made legalisms and we welcome you to come "as you are". Yet at the same time, we do not accept the uncontrolled "freedoms" of modern liberalism.
Founded in 1974, through God's grace, Fowler Baptist Church has maintained its witness through good and difficult days.
Today, we have a regular congregational attendance of between 55 and 75 people, with our numbers frequently increasing to close to and over 100 on special occasions.
Our membership is drawn from all ages, including quite a number of smaller children from young families; also we have what we lovingly call our "maturing adults" and then the "more experienced" seniors. We are happy to be proud of our family atmosphere.
Our Sunday School starts at 9.30am and is sub-divided into combined Grade Level classes K-2, Gr.3-6, Teens and of course Adult. Morning Service is at 10.30 am.
1409 E 12th St,
Fowler, IN 47944
To reach us, traveling from (West) Lafayette, stay on State Road 52 heading west. Go past Otterbein, then past Benton Central High School. From BCHS, Fowler is another 6 miles or so. As you come to the edge of town, look across the fields to the windmills on the right and you will see the white spire of our church, at the corner of 12th street and County Road 100 East. Fowler is about 25 minutes from West Lafayette.
From the north, take State Road 41 south past Kentland, then veer off at the Lafayette State Road 52 exit. Fowler is about another 10 minutes south-west.
Warning: Our local police officers do a great job in controlling speeders!
